About The Position

Sam's Club is hiring Personal Shoppers for its new Katy, Texas location. As a founding associate, the Personal Shopper helps establish the club’s member experience and culture. The role fulfills pickup orders by gathering, scanning, wrapping, palletizing, and staging merchandise accurately and securely. It also includes assisting members, promoting Membership benefits and upgrades, supporting sales and marketing events, following up on unavailable merchandise, and adhering to safety procedures. The position is active and fast-paced, with flexible scheduling that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Fulfill Fax 'n Pull and Click 'n Pull orders by reviewing orders, locating and pulling items, scanning, wrapping, and palletizing merchandise.
Ensure order and invoice accuracy and secure items until members arrive for pickup.
Follow up on out-of-stock merchandise and communicate substitutions to meet member needs.
Process Memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, and participate in sales and marketing events.
Promote Sam's Club products, services, and Membership benefits to help meet Membership goals.
Acknowledge members, identify their needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues and concerns.
Conduct safety sweeps and follow forklift spotting procedures and hazardous material handling guidelines.
Follow company steel standard guidelines and correct or report unsafe situations to management.
