Personal Shopper — New Location: Weslaco, TX
About The Position
Join the founding team at the new Sam's Club in Weslaco, Texas. As a Personal Shopper, you help members save time by fulfilling pickup orders with speed, care, and accuracy. You will pull, scan, wrap, and stage items, promote Membership benefits and upgrades, follow safety procedures, and deliver a dependable member experience. The role is active and fast-paced, involves working with a supportive team, and offers training and development opportunities. The position also involves helping establish the culture and standards of a newly opening club. Associates are expected to demonstrate Sam's Club values by respecting individuals, acting with integrity, serving customers and members, and striving for excellence. The hourly wage range is $17.00 to $25.00, with possible premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in qualifying circumstances. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable local minimum wage.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Fulfill Fax 'n Pull and Click 'n Pull orders by reviewing orders, locating items, scanning, wrapping, and palletizing them.
- Ensure order and invoice accuracy and secure items until members arrive for pickup.
- Follow up on out-of-stock merchandise and communicate substitutions to meet members' needs.
- Process Memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, and participate in sales and marketing events.
- Promote Sam's Club products, services, and Membership benefits to help meet Membership goals.
- Acknowledge members, identify their needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues and concerns.
- Conduct safety sweeps and follow forklift spotting procedures and hazardous material handling guidelines.
- Follow company steel standard guidelines and correct and report unsafe situations to management.
- Help establish the culture and service standards of the new Weslaco club.
