About The Position
QSL Management is seeking a Medication Technician for The Barclay House of Aiken. The role supports residents by providing accurate and professional medication management in accordance with company standards and state regulations, monitoring and documenting resident health, and assisting with dining and activities as needed. The position is part of a senior living community focused on residents’ wellness, security, comfort, and quality of life.
Requirements
- A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Medication Technician License issued by the state.
- Flexibility and readiness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Experience working with older adults.
Responsibilities
- Report changes in residents’ health and status and complete daily data sheets to record progress.
- Provide medication management accurately and professionally according to company standards and state regulations.
- Explain medication dosage and pharmacology when needed.
- Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
- Assist with dining as needed or directed by the leadership team.
- Assist with activities that keep residents engaged and happy.
