About The Position

QSL Management is hiring a Medication Technician for The Barclay House of Aiken. The role supports residents by providing accurate, professional medication management in accordance with company standards and state regulations. The technician also monitors and records changes in residents’ health, supports dining and activities as needed, and helps create a caring and engaging environment for older adults.

Requirements

• A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current Medication Technician license issued by the state.
• Flexibility and readiness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid.
• Experience working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Report changes in residents’ health and status.
• Complete daily data sheets to record residents’ progress.
• Provide medication management accurately and professionally, in accordance with company standards and state regulations.
• Explain medication dosage and pharmacology when needed.
• Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
• Assist with dining as needed or directed by the leadership team.
• Assist with activities that keep residents engaged and happy.
