About The Position

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a caring, dependable Med Tech to serve residents at Ansel Park Assisted Living and Memory Care. The role administers and dispenses medication, provides personal care, and supports residents’ well-being, dignity, and independence. Medication administration is performed under nurse supervision and in accordance with company policy and applicable state and federal guidelines. CMA certification is optional; training and delegation are provided. This is a part-time, PRN position with shifts from 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., or 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. Starting pay is $21.72–$25.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English with residents, families, guests, and other associates.
Caring, organized, and able to multitask.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience passing medications in a retirement community setting is preferred.
CMA certification is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Administer medications prescribed by residents’ physicians and accurately record their administration under nurse supervision and in accordance with company policy and applicable state and federal guidelines.
Obtain, record, and report residents’ vital signs.
Manage medication supplies.
Account for medications ordered, received, stored, and administered.
Attend to residents’ personal needs, safety, and comfort.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, personal hygiene, and mobility.
Help with daily tasks such as housekeeping, telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status.
Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
Assist with dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and cleanup.
