About The Position

Aegis Living Fremont is seeking a Medication Care Manager to support senior residents. The role involves dispensing medications, maintaining medication records, informing others about changes in residents’ conditions, and assisting with residents’ physical care, meals, and activities. The position also emphasizes effective communication and teamwork, strong interpersonal relationships, organization, time management, and resident and family satisfaction.

Requirements

• Be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) with Nursing Delegation.
• Have knowledge of, or the ability to learn, the theory and practice of assisted living and Alzheimer’s care.
• Be skilled at building relationships with residents.
• Be able to maintain resident confidentiality.
• Be able to successfully complete the Aegis Medication Training Certification program.
• Have knowledge of and ability to assist residents with medications.
• Meet all health requirements, including acceptable results on a TB screen.
• Be at least 18 years old.
