About The Position
The Medication Assistant (MA-C) works at The Blossoms at Cumberland in Little Rock, Arkansas, passing medications under a nurse’s supervision. A licensed nurse is on every shift. The role is offered full-time and part-time, with 12-hour shifts from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and a weekend option available. Pay is $22.50–$23.50 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- Active Arkansas Medication Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Pass scheduled and PRN medications under a nurse’s supervision.
- Watch for reactions and report changes to the nurse.
- Take vital signs and document every medication pass on the MAR.
- Keep the medication cart stocked.
