Medical Assistant/ MA-C - Urology
About The Position
Join PACMed's Urology team as a Certified Medical Assistant, supporting compassionate, specialized care for patients with urologic conditions. The role supports providers with examinations, procedures, diagnostic testing, patient education, and care coordination, and helps patients navigate treatment for conditions affecting the urinary tract, kidneys, bladder, and prostate. The position calls for a passion for patient care, collaboration in a clinical environment, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with patients throughout their healthcare journey. The role is with Pacmed Clinics DBA Pacific Medical Centers, part of Providence. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants; or graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program; or completion of two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces; or at least one year of medical assistant work experience that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification within 30 days of hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Six months of healthcare experience.
- Six months of medical assistant experience.
