About The Position

CountryHouse Residence, an Agemark Senior Living community in Kearney, Nebraska, is hiring a compassionate and dependable Medication Aide. The position focuses on supporting residents by administering medications according to physician orders and care plans, documenting medication administration, monitoring residents’ well-being, and assisting with daily needs while protecting their dignity and independence. The aide builds relationships with residents, families, and team members and helps create a positive environment through compassion, patience, and positive energy. The schedule is full-time, evenings from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with work available 4–5 days per week, including every other weekend and rotating holidays. Requirements

• Meet all Nebraska certification, training, and registry requirements for Medication Aides.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
• Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Have basic computer skills for electronic medication tracking and documentation.
• Have a genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.
• Be available to work 4–5 days per week, including every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
• Clearly and accurately document medication administration.
• Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and promptly report them.
• Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Help create a positive environment with compassion, patience, and positive energy.
