About The Position

CountryHouse Residence, an Agemark Senior Living community in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Aide to help residents receive safe, attentive care and build meaningful connections. The role supports residents’ well-being, dignity, and independence while helping create a positive environment. The position is full-time on the evening shift, with every other weekend and holidays required as scheduled.

Requirements

• Meet Nebraska’s applicable medication aide training, competency, and registry requirements.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
• Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Use electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation; basic computer skills are required.
• Have a genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.
• Be available to work evening shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely according to physician orders, residents’ care plans, and applicable regulations.
• Document medication administration clearly and accurately.
• Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
• Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Bring compassion, patience, and positive energy to each shift.
