About The Position

LindenGrove Waukesha, an Illuminus Community, is hiring a Medication Administration Assistant (MAA) for skilled nursing. The community provides assisted living, memory support, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term skilled care. The role supports residents through respectful communication and medication administration in accordance with organizational policy. The position is available full-time, part-time, and PRN, with scheduling options that vary according to community needs. Shifts may be eight hours and may include a weekend rotation. Pay is $20.70–$23.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) certification.
• Certification by the State of Wisconsin for medication administration; CBRF/AL medication training does not qualify.
• Maintain 100 working hours as a Med Admin Aide and complete four hours of medication training per calendar year since completing the program.
• Active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and staff while supporting the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Administer prescribed medications according to policy, including related assessments such as blood pressure and pulse checks.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nurse.
• Maintain current medication and healthcare knowledge through required training and meetings.
• Provide on-call coverage and perform other assigned duties.
