Medical-Surgical Nurse Explorer Program - New Graduate RN Residency Track
About The Position
The Medical-Surgical Explorer Program is a 13-week rotational residency designed for new graduate Registered Nurses seeking a supportive, dynamic start to their nursing career. Nurses are centrally hired into the program and rotate through three inpatient med-surg units, allowing for hands-on experience, reflection, and exploration before selecting a permanent home unit. This program is for new graduate nurses with less than one year of experience. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, nurses continue to build competency in the provision of direct patient care. They contribute to unit activities, support the enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level, and support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
