It advises the Chief of Aerospace Medicine on permanent withdrawal of authorization to bear arms and provides medical evaluation reports to the Security Forces Squadron Commander for reinstatement or removal decisions. As the Health Service Benefits Advisor and Credentials Coordinator, the specialist advises on TRICARE and privileging programs, oversees credentialing operations, maintains provider information in CCQAS, prepares program-status reports, and tracks and transfers providers’ professional licenses, certifications, and registrations.
