About The Position

Medical Procedure Room nurses care for patients during colonoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures, as well as before and after procedures. Nurses may serve as scrub nurses, assisting providers with instruments, or as circulating nurses, overseeing overall nursing care and the procedure-room environment. The role is part of a close-knit team at Munson Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center with a surgical hospitalist program, in a dynamic environment offering opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
• BLS.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients before, during, and after colonoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures.
• Serve as a scrub nurse by assisting providers with instruments.
• Serve as a circulating nurse by overseeing overall nursing care and the procedure-room environment.
