About The Position
Medical Procedure Room nurses care for patients during colonoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures and provide care before and after procedures. They may serve as scrub nurses, assisting providers with instruments, or as circulating nurses, overseeing overall nursing care and the procedure-room environment. The role is part of a close-knit team at a Level II Trauma Center with a surgical hospitalist program and opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
- BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients during colonoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures.
- Deliver patient care before and after procedures.
- Serve as a scrub nurse by assisting providers with instruments.
- Serve as a circulating nurse by overseeing overall nursing care and the procedure-room environment.
