The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a clinically focused and academically driven Medical Physicist for a full-time, open-rank faculty position. Tenure status, academic rank, and compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of clinical medical physics support, quality assurance, and radiation safety across our main campus and regional satellite clinics. The department strongly supports academic development and expects faculty to build collaborative, clinically relevant research programs. Faculty are encouraged to collaborate across UAB’s Heersink School of Medicine and its nationally recognized academic and research infrastructure.
