About The Position

The Medical Courier transports medical specimens and laboratory materials on a scheduled route in Batesville, Arkansas. The role supports patient care by ensuring diagnostic materials are handled safely and delivered accurately and on time. It involves independent work on the road, professional communication with healthcare and laboratory staff, and use of a company-provided non-CDL vehicle and mobile tracking tools. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with rotational weekends.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Provide a Motor Vehicle Record showing no more than two moving violation convictions in the previous 36 months, and none in the most recent 12 months.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the road.
• Comfort using mobile devices or scanning tools.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain on the move for much of the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and laboratory materials on a scheduled route.
• Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and laboratory staff to support timely deliveries.
• Safely operate a company-provided non-CDL vehicle.
• Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
• Comply with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
