About The Position

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Medical Courier in West Columbia, South Carolina. The role transports medical specimens and laboratory materials on a scheduled route, helping ensure diagnostic materials reach their destinations safely and on time. The courier works independently, communicates with healthcare and laboratory staff, and represents the company’s diagnostic services. The position uses a company-provided non-CDL vehicle and mobile delivery tools. The listed schedule is Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
Provide a Motor Vehicle Record showing no more than two moving violation convictions in the previous 36 months and none in the most recent 12 months.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and solve problems on the road.
Comfort using mobile devices or scanning tools.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain mobile for much of the shift.

Nice To Haves

Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and laboratory materials on a scheduled route.
Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and laboratory staff to support timely deliveries.
Safely operate a company-provided non-CDL vehicle.
Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
Comply with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
