About The Position

Accurate Courier Services has been providing dependable time-critical delivery services for over 20 years. As a leader in our field, we provide logistics services to Hospital Systems, Medical Foundations, Pharmacies, and Laboratories. Accurate Courier Services is currently seeking dependable, reliable couriers to service a Healthcare customer in the Greenville, SC area. This is an on-demand, owner-operator position requiring cars, vans, or SUVs. Multiple shifts are available, including Monday-Friday, evenings, and weekends, with ongoing 24/7 365 operations.

Requirements

21 years of age.
Professional driving experience preferred (couriers, delivery routes, etc).
General knowledge of the local area (roads, shortcuts, etc.).
Valid Driver's License for 3 years.
Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
Own vehicle with valid registration and auto insurance that meets company requirements.
Pass background, health requirements, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Transporting various parcel types, including pharmaceuticals, medical instruments and supplies, mail, documents, and specimen types (i.e., room temperature, frozen, and refrigerated).
Understanding and adhering to Confidentiality Rules and Regulations.
Maintaining a valid driver’s license, declaration pages of insurance, and vehicle registration at all times.
Maintaining a vehicle and phone in good working condition.
Ensuring cleanliness and proper hygiene.
Remaining drug-free at all times.
Timely pick-up and delivery of all parcels in accordance with time schedules.
Maintaining the proper chain of custody by using a manual manifest and/or Scanner/Mobile App.
Reporting any issues or problems encountered on assigned routes/orders to dispatch and/or supervisor immediately.
Wearing provided uniforms and I.D badges during work hours.
Following customer and company policies.
Performing outstanding, in-person customer service to internal and external customers.
Working in all weather conditions and working late into the night.
Working in a fast-paced environment with significant walking and driving.
