About The Position
Performs EKG duties and collects blood from neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in accordance with established standards and practices. The position is full-time, with varied shifts, 8-hour shifts, variable days, and every-other-weekend requirements. It is a regular, non-exempt position at Sutter Eden Medical Center. The posted pay range is $36.99 to $46.19 per hour; actual starting pay may vary based on factors including experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, organizational needs, and work location. Eligible positions include a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Completion of a training program for phlebotomists.
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPTI) certification.
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician II (CPTII) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of work experience in phlebotomy.
- Prior EKG experience.
