About The Position
Performs EKG duties and collects blood from neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in accordance with established standards and practices. This is a limited-term, full-time position at Sutter Eden Medical Center, with a varied schedule, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, and work every other weekend. The position is non-exempt and union-represented. The employer notes that the listed accountabilities and qualifications are not exhaustive and that duties may be revised as circumstances change. Eligible positions include a comprehensive benefits package. The posted pay range is $36.99 to $46.19 per hour; pay may vary by primary work location and starting salary considers factors including experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, training, and organizational needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Completion of a training program for phlebotomists.
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPTI) or Certified Phlebotomy Technician II (CPTII) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of work experience in phlebotomy.
- Prior EKG experience.
