About The Position
Performs EKG duties and collects blood from neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in accordance with established standards and practices. The listed accountabilities, requirements, and qualifications describe the current role but are not exhaustive; management may revise the description or assign other tasks as circumstances change. This is a full-time, limited-term (fixed-term), non-exempt position at Sutter Eden Medical Center. The schedule is 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts on variable days and every other weekend. Shifts are varied. The posted pay range is $36.99 to $46.19 per hour, with starting pay based on factors including experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Eligible positions include a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience; equivalent experience may substitute for the required degree or diploma.
- Completion of a training program for phlebotomists.
- CPTI—Certified Phlebotomy Technician I.
- CPTII—Certified Phlebotomy Technician II.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of work experience in phlebotomy.
- Prior EKG experience.
