About The Position

EPIC Health is hiring a full-time, Spanish/English bilingual Medical Assistant for an on-site role in Cicero, Illinois. The Medical Assistant is an essential member of the care team, supporting patients and clinicians through compassionate, hands-on care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Responsibilities include welcoming and escorting patients to exam rooms, measuring and recording vital signs in the EHR, documenting symptoms and medical history, administering injections and vaccinations, explaining procedures to patients, collecting blood and urine samples, scheduling follow-up appointments, and contributing to process-improvement initiatives and other team needs. A background check is required.

Requirements

Experience as a Medical Assistant.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Previous phlebotomy experience.
A background check is required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Collaborative spirit, can-do attitude, and willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients, escort them to exam rooms, and help create a welcoming environment.
