About The Position

EPIC Health is hiring a full-time, Spanish- and English-bilingual Medical Assistant to support face-to-face patient care at its on-site Cicero, Illinois location. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Medical Assistant is an essential member of the care team, helping create a welcoming experience and supporting clinical care and follow-up.

Requirements

• Experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Previous phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and create a welcoming environment.
• Measure and record vital signs in the EHR.
• Document patients’ symptoms and medical histories.
• Perform injections, vaccinations, and other treatments.
• Explain procedures to patients.
• Collect blood and urine samples.
• Schedule future appointments.
• Participate in process-improvement initiatives and provide support where needed by the team.
