About The Position
QualDerm Partners is seeking a full-time Dermatology Medical Assistant in Greensboro, North Carolina. The role works closely with providers to support patient care and keep the practice running smoothly. The position involves preparing patients and rooms, assisting with examinations and procedures, performing basic laboratory tasks, maintaining records, coordinating scheduling and communications, and educating patients. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, attentive to detail, and committed to a high-quality patient experience in a collaborative, patient-focused setting. Dermatology experience is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Dermatology experience is strongly preferred.
- Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Understanding of medical terminology, especially in dermatology.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic office applications is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations by recording vital signs and medical histories.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare instruments, equipment, and procedure rooms.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and handle specimens for analysis.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and office communications.
- Educate patients about treatments, medications, and appropriate skincare.
- Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked.
