About The Position

Provide patient care in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Work under the guidance of physicians and advanced practitioners in a medical office setting. Specific duties and responsibilities are determined by the supervising physician(s), Clinical Leadership, and Scope of Practice after competency is established.

Requirements

• One year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Visual color acuity screening, depending on the role in specific units.

Nice To Haves

• Prior completion of the state-required X-ray safety course, or begin the course within 30 days of employment and complete it no later than 90 days, if performing at a medical office location.
• CMA or RMA.
