About The Position

GOLFTEC is hiring a Certified Personal Coach for its Sandy Springs location. The coach joins a community of golf professionals who help students improve their golf through customized instruction and data-driven feedback. Coaches complete GOLFTEC University (GTU), a comprehensive program combining on-the-job training at a GOLFTEC Center with in-person training at GOLFTEC headquarters in the Denver metro area. The role uses GOLFTEC’s technology and services to support students with varying skill levels and goals. Compensation includes a base hourly rate, monthly commissions, bonus opportunities, and other performance-based components, with estimated total compensation of $55,000–$70,000. A $1,000 signing bonus is paid upon completing GOLFTEC University.

Requirements

Two or more years of experience in golf instruction or club fitting is preferred.
Prior knowledge of golf swing mechanics is highly preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate in a professional, team-based environment.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods and lift items weighing more than 30 pounds.

Affiliation with the PGA or LPGA.
Graduation from a PGM program.

Responsibilities

Graduate from GOLFTEC University, GOLFTEC’s comprehensive training program.
Use golf-industry technology to help students improve their play.
Recommend teaching content to support customized lesson plans for students of varying skill levels.
Provide GOLFTEC services, including TECFIT club fitting, outdoor playing lessons, and short-game lessons.
Create a high-level experience for students inside and outside the training bays.
Use GOLFTEC proprietary technology, including Optimotion and TECSWING teaching software.
Maintain the Training Center environment, equipment, and technology.
Perform daily opening and closing functions for the Training Center.
Participate in continuing education, including distance learning and seminars.
