About The Position

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech Therapist for PruittPlace ALF in Sandy Springs. The role supports patients in improving communication, cognition, swallowing function, and overall quality of life. The position offers compensation up to $130,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location, as well as benefits, career growth opportunities, and a collaborative culture focused on clinical excellence. The position is PRN. Applicants must hold a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program and a current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice. Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered where applicable.

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by an ASHA-approved evaluation organization.

Nice To Haves

CCC-SLP preferred.
Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable.
Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.
