Medical Assistant - Bilingual - PRN
About The Position
Advanced Molecular Diagnostics is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant to work in a busy physician's office on behalf of its genetic-testing laboratory. The Medical Assistant speaks with each patient who visits the office, uses an iPad-based questionnaire to determine whether the patient qualifies for testing, completes paperwork, and collects a DNA sample using a mouthwash swish; no blood is collected. The tests assess cancer risk and identify genetic mutations that patients planning to have children could pass on. The position offers hourly pay of $17–$21 and paid training, with the optional potential to transition to full-time employment.
Requirements
- At least 1–2 years of experience working in a fast-paced office.
- Strong patient interaction skills.
- Fluent Spanish.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant certification is preferred but not required.
