About The Position
NEO Surgical Group is seeking a Spanish-speaking Medical Assistant eager to expand their skills and cross-train as a Chiropractic Assistant. The role involves working alongside a healthcare team focused on patient care and requires travel between clinic locations. The position includes both clinical and administrative duties. Employment is contingent on successfully completing and clearing a background screening; offers are conditional until the screening process is complete.
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel between clinic locations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to assist with both clinical and administrative duties.
- Successful completion and clearance of a background screening is required for employment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Experience working with Personal Injury (PI) cases.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient care, examinations, and treatments.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Prepare patients for appointments and procedures.
- Obtain and document patient histories and vital signs.
- Assist with patient intake and medical documentation.
- Support front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, scheduling, and answering phones.
- Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate patient records.
- Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Travel between clinic locations as needed.
