About The Position

Join UW Health’s podiatry team in evaluating and treating a range of foot ailments, including foot and heel pain, heel spurs, hammertoes, bunions, corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, plantar warts, plantar fasciitis, arthritis, and tendinitis. Provide high-quality care in a compassionate, respectful, patient- and family-centered environment, and promote wellness and healthy lifestyles.

This is a 100% FTE, day-shift position. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday between 7:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; hours may vary based on departmental operational needs. UW Health offers competitive compensation and benefits. Relevant work experience will be considered when determining starting base pay.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program, or one of the listed alternative education, licensure, certification, apprenticeship, or experience pathways.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as an MA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA within one year, or licensure as an LPN upon hire.
• If applying in lieu of medical assistant education or LPN licensure, current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification is required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification is required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN.
