About The Position

Colorado Physician Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to collaborate with Clinical services staff and provide patient services. The role supports a welcoming environment that promotes patient comfort and trust while maintaining a positive and flexible attitude. The Medical Assistant prepares for appointments, maintains exam rooms, assists with patient screening and examinations, and helps keep supplies and work areas organized.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current, valid Medical Assistant certification.
• Current, valid CPR certification.
• Excellent ability to take medical histories, understand instructions, and accurately document information; high degree of diplomacy and tact.
• Beginner to intermediate computing and phone skills.
• Willingness to adapt to various job duties and cross-train within other departments.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of Universal Precautions and adherence to HIPAA standards.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English/Spanish or other languages.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Review and update patient records before in-person or Telehealth appointments, ensuring recent test results and correspondence are current.
• Clean and stock exam rooms between patient visits in accordance with infection control standards.
• Prepare patients for visits and notify the physician or mid-level provider when they are ready to be seen.
• Greet patients, take vital signs, and accurately document basic medical history.
• Assist physicians or mid-level providers during patient examinations.
• Restock supplies, check inventory, and keep work areas clean and orderly.
