About The Position

Colorado Physician Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care and customer service in collaboration with Clinical services staff. The role helps provide a welcoming environment that promotes patient comfort and trust. The Medical Assistant prepares for in-person and Telehealth appointments, maintains exam rooms and supplies, prepares and screens patients, and assists physicians or mid-level providers during examinations.

Requirements

• Excellent ability to take medical histories, understand instructions, and document information accurately.
• A high degree of diplomacy and tact.
• Beginner to intermediate computing and phone skills.
• Willingness to adapt to various duties and cross-train within other departments.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Knowledge of Universal Precautions and adherence to HIPAA standards.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current, valid Medical Assistant certification.
• Current, valid CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or other languages.
• Valid state driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and update patient records before face-to-face or Telehealth appointments, ensuring recent test results and correspondence are current.
• Clean and stock exam rooms between patient visits in accordance with infection control standards.
• Prepare patients for visits and notify the physician or mid-level provider when they are ready.
• Greet patients, take vital signs, and accurately document basic medical histories.
• Assist physicians or mid-level providers during patient examinations.
• Restock supplies, check inventory, and keep work areas clean and orderly.
