About The Position

Clinical Associates is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant who speaks Russian and English fluently to work with an Internal Medicine provider at its Pikesville location in the Woodholme Medical Building. The role involves providing supportive, professional patient care and service in a fast-paced healthcare setting, including triage, rooming patients, assisting during office visits, and follow-up with patients or families. The position offers hands-on patient responsibilities and opportunities for growth and advancement. The schedule is Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 or more hours per week. Candidates must be flexible and available to start as early as 7:30 a.m. and to work Tuesday evenings until 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Current registration or certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Fluent in both Russian and English.
Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
The ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be available to work as early as 7:30 a.m. and on Tuesday evenings until 6:00 p.m.
Candidates selected for an interview must take a medical skill assessment.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of experience in Internal Medicine is preferred.
National Medical Assistant registration and experience in Internal Medicine or Primary Care are preferred.
Proven EHR experience.

Responsibilities

Assist during routine examinations.
Record patient histories and vital signs.
Obtain and track authorizations and test results.
Enter laboratory and diagnostic test orders.
Schedule appointments, procedures, and imaging.
Provide Patient Service Representative coverage when needed.
Triage calls, room patients, assist during office visits, and provide follow-up to patients and/or families.
