About The Position

Clinical Associates is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant who speaks Russian and English fluently to work with a healthcare provider in Internal Medicine at its Pikesville location in the Woodholme Medical Building. The role provides hands-on patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting and offers opportunities for growth and advancement. The Medical Assistant is expected to provide patients and families with a positive, supportive, nurturing, and professional experience, including through call triage, rooming patients, assisting during office visits, and follow-up. The schedule is Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 or more hours per week. Flexibility is required, including availability to start as early as 7:30 a.m. and to work Tuesday evenings until 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Current registration or certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Fluent in both Russian and English.
Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
Availability to work Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 or more hours per week, including starting as early as 7:30 a.m. and working Tuesday evenings until 6:00 p.m.
Candidates selected for an interview must take a medical skills assessment.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of experience in Internal Medicine is preferred.
National Medical Assistant registration and experience in Internal Medicine or Primary Care are preferred.
Proven EHR experience.

Responsibilities

Assist during routine examinations.
Record patient histories and log vital signs.
Obtain and track authorizations and test results.
Enter laboratory and diagnostic test orders.
Schedule appointments, procedures, and imaging.
Triage calls, room patients, assist during office visits, and provide follow-up to patients and/or families.
Provide Patient Service Representative coverage when needed.
