About The Position

The Medical Assistant is a key part of delivering Crossover Health’s patient experience. The role provides clinic guests with welcoming, professional service and supports their experience from arrival through follow-up beyond the clinic. The Medical Assistant assists clinicians with patient care, helps maintain medical supplies, administers medications within scope of practice, and supports clinic communications and appointment scheduling.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant or surgical technician program.
• At least 2 years of comparable clinical back-office medical assistant experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests when possible.
• Resolve customer complaints and assist with inquiries about clinic services and operating hours.
• Take medical histories, measure patient vital signs, and collect other pertinent information to support clinicians in patient care.
• Manage inventory and order and replenish medical supplies and materials.
• Administer medications, including injections, within scope of practice.
• Operate a multi-line phone system, answer calls professionally, schedule appointments, respond to email, and support effective communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
