About The Position

The Medical Assistant is a key contributor to Crossover Health’s patient experience, providing guests with attentive, professional service from the moment they arrive and extending that service beyond the clinic. The role supports clinicians by gathering patient histories and vital signs, administering medications within the scope of practice, and helping ensure effective clinic operations and communication.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant or surgical technician program.
• At least 2 years of comparable clinical back-office medical assistant experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Resolve customer complaints and assist customers with questions about clinic services and operating hours.
• Take medical histories, measure patient vital signs, and collect other pertinent information to support clinicians in patient care.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and replenish medical supplies and materials.
• Administer medications, including injections, within the scope of practice.
• Operate a multi-line phone system, answer calls professionally, schedule appointments, respond to email, and maintain effective communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
