About The Position
MainStreet Family Care is seeking an energetic, fast, and friendly Medical Assistant to support providers and deliver patient care. The company offers urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine services. The Medical Assistant assists with patient intake, assessment, treatment, and discharge, and helps ensure optimal delivery of medical care. This PRN role requires scheduling flexibility and may involve travel to other clinics as needed. The position begins at $15 per hour. Pre-employment background checks and drug screenings are required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Flexibility with scheduling is essential.
- Pass required pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.

- Prior medical assisting experience or education.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers in caring for patients and supporting optimal delivery of medical care.
- Triage patients promptly according to clinic procedures.
- Record vital signs, weight, and updates to patients’ medical histories before visits.
- Perform laboratory tests in accordance with clinical guidelines and provider instructions.
- Manage digital patient records and support the transition from paper records to electronic systems.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and ready for appointments.
- Administer prescribed medications under provider supervision.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Position patients for x-rays as directed by providers.
- Help monitor and manage medical inventory when needed.
