About The Position

The Medical Assistant assists physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. The role is responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management, provides patients with information so they can fully utilize and benefit from clinic services, and conveys a positive image of the organization.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience, required for new hires effective April 2014.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained as current.
• Minimum one year of work experience in a public contact job.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Work experience in health care preferred.
