About The Position

Dental Health Associates (DHA), a locally owned, doctor-led dental practice in Madison, Wisconsin, is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant for its East Clinic. The assistant will work closely with Dr. Allen Skibba and the clinic team to provide patient care, support dental procedures, and contribute to a collaborative environment focused on relationships, growth, and continuous learning. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday. Starting pay is $19 per hour, with the opportunity to earn more based on experience. The organization has served the Madison community for more than 55 years. Dental assistant experience and certification are preferred, but certification is not required. The employer also welcomes candidates who have recently completed dental assistant training.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment areas, sterilize instruments, and hand instruments to the doctor during procedures.
Take and process dental X-rays to assist with diagnosis.
Prepare and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate patients about post-treatment care and general oral hygiene.
Sterilize and organize dental tools and equipment.
Provide comfort and support to patients during procedures.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling or confirming appointments.
