About The Position

Dental Health Associates (DHA), a locally owned, doctor-led dental practice in Madison, Wisconsin, is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant for its East Clinic. The assistant will work closely with Dr. Allen Skibba and collaborate with experienced dental professionals to provide patient care. The role includes supporting dental procedures, taking and processing X-rays, maintaining patient records and treatment areas, and helping patients understand post-treatment care and oral hygiene. Administrative tasks such as scheduling or confirming appointments may also be required. Starting pay is $19 per hour, with the opportunity to earn more based on experience.

Requirements

Dental assistant experience is preferred.
Dental Assistant certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment areas, sterilize instruments, and hand instruments to the doctor during procedures.
Take and process dental X-rays to aid diagnosis.
Prepare and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate patients on post-treatment care and general oral hygiene.
Sterilize and organize dental tools and equipment.
Provide comfort and support to patients during procedures.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling or confirming appointments.
