Unlicensed Clinic Dental Assistant
About The Position
We are seeking an Unlicensed Clinical Dental Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality dental care at our mobile dental headquarters in New Brighton, Minnesota. This role suits a detail-oriented, patient-focused individual who is eager to work in a smaller, community-based setting. Applicants may have prior dental assisting experience or be looking to begin a career in dental assisting. The position offers a stable full-time schedule, competitive compensation, a supportive and inclusive work environment, and opportunities for growth and professional development. Compensation is $22–$23.50 an hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of the Minnesota Dental Radiology Certificate course.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
- Completion of the Minnesota Dental Radiology Certificate course to perform X-rays.
Nice To Haves
- Dental office experience is preferred but not required.
- Spanish-speaking ability is preferred at some locations.
Responsibilities
- Greet, seat, and prepare patients for clinical procedures.
- Complete intraoral radiographs.
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during treatments as needed.
- Set up and clean operatories, including proper disinfection and waste management.
- Clean, package, and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols.
- Assist with documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
