About The Position

Endeavor Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for its OBGYN practice in Highland Park, Illinois. The position is full time and includes weekday hours from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with rotating Saturday hours from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Travel to other sites may be required based on department needs. On-the-job training is provided for candidates without previous medical assistant training or experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
One year of work experience.

Nice To Haves

Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program.
Medical Assistant Certification through AMT or AAMA.
Previous experience working in a medical office or related field.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and the reason for the office visit.
Provide front-office support as needed.
Measure basic vital signs, including blood pressure, height, and weight.
Perform phlebotomy and administer injections when required.
