About The Position

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join its Pulmonary Clinic in Bellevue. The role supports healthcare practitioners by preparing and rooming patients, coordinating care, providing in-basket support, completing prior authorizations, and documenting patient interactions in the electronic medical record. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no weekends or holidays. Eligible new hires may receive a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from a certified medical assistant program, or previous military training or experience that satisfies Washington state standards.
• Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) through the Washington State Department of Health.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification before the start date.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for the healthcare practitioner.
• Obtain vital signs and room patients.
• Coordinate care.
• Provide in-basket support.
• Complete prior authorizations.
• Document patient interactions via the electronic medical record.
