About The Position

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join its Pulmonary Clinic in Bellevue. This is a 40-hour-per-week, day-shift position, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekends or holidays. The hourly pay range is $28.86 to $39.93. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible new hires.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from a certified medical assistant program, or previous military training or experience that satisfies Washington state standards.
• Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) through the Washington State Department of Health.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification before the start date.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for the healthcare practitioner.
• Obtain vital signs and room patients.
• Coordinate care.
• Provide in-basket support.
• Complete prior authorizations.
• Document patient interactions in the electronic medical record.
