About The Position

QualDerm Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its team in Desert Ridge, Arizona. The role supports patient care across dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery, helping provide a high-quality patient experience in a collaborative clinical environment. The Medical Assistant prepares patients and examination rooms, assists physicians, performs basic laboratory tasks, maintains patient records, coordinates appointments, and educates patients about their care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to dermatology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and staff.
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring necessary instruments are available.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices.
• Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
