About The Position

JARS Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Budtender for its Desert Ridge location. The role involves assisting patients and customers with cannabis products, creating a welcoming dispensary experience, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Candidates with customer-service experience in retail or food service may be trained in cannabis products and can develop sales and customer-service skills on the job.

This is a full-time position with a schedule of five 8-hour shifts and two days off. Candidates must have open availability to work morning, mid, and closing shifts, as well as holidays, and be able to work at least 30 hours per week. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass standard and fingerprint background checks.

Requirements

• Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
• Open availability to work morning and evening shifts and holidays.
• Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours each week.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for at least 8 hours daily.
• Comfort using a computer for the duration of the shift.
• Willingness to learn and self-educate about cannabis trends and products.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
• Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
• Ability to move and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Personal smartphone required: iPhone with iOS 14 or later, or Android OS 4.4 or later.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a standard background check and fingerprint background check.

Nice To Haves

• Customer-service experience in retail or food service.

Responsibilities
