About The Position

JARS Cannabis is hiring an entry-level Budtender for its Desert Ridge location. The role is suited to candidates with customer service experience, including experience in retail or food service; the company will provide training on cannabis. Budtenders help patients and customers choose products, create a welcoming dispensary experience, and maintain an organized and clean workspace. The position offers $15.50–$16 per hour plus a shared tip pool and is scheduled for five eight-hour shifts per week, with two days off. Candidates must have open availability for morning, mid, and closing shifts and holidays, and must be able to work at least 30 hours per week.

Requirements

Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
Open availability to work morning and evening shifts and holidays without schedule restrictions.
Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours each week.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for at least eight hours daily.
Comfort using a computer for the duration of the shift.
Willingness to learn and self-educate about cannabis trends and products.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
Ability to move and lift at least 50 pounds.
Personal smartphone required: iPhone with iOS 14 or later, or Android with OS 4.4 or later.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must pass a standard background check and undergo a fingerprint background check.
