Our Medical Assistants are an important part of the patient experience. You'll work alongside our clinical team to help keep the clinic running smoothly while providing patients with professional, compassionate care. Requirements

  • Physical proof of a High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 3 months of relevant Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy experience in a medical setting OR 180 documented externship hours
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred
  • Venipuncture and injection experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Take manual vital signs
  • Perform routine blood draws and venipuncture
  • Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections according to provider orders
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and accurately document lab results and quality controls
  • Prepare and process laboratory specimens for in-house testing and outside facilities
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering
  • Communicate with the clinic team to keep daily operations running smoothly
  • Provide support to front desk operations when needed
  • Create a welcoming, positive experience for every patient
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service
