About The Position
SynergenX Health & Low T Center are nationally recognized leaders in hormone replacement therapy, weight management, and targeted wellness services — and we are looking for Medical Assistants to join our growing team! This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in healthcare, strengthen their clinical skills, and work alongside experienced medical providers while making a difference in patients' lives. No Medical Assistant certification or license is required! We provide two weeks of paid training to help set you up for success.
Requirements
- Physical proof of a High School Diploma or GED is required
- Minimum of 3 months of relevant experience in a medical setting performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR documented completion of 180 externship hours
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, friendly attitude
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varying clinic hours and some Saturdays
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification is preferred, but not required
- Experience performing venipuncture and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Performing manual vitals
- Performing routine blood draws and venipuncture
- Administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider
- Preparing and processing laboratory specimens
- Running in-house labs and preparing specimens for outside laboratories
- Ensuring the appropriate labs are ordered for each patient
- Maintaining lab equipment, documentation, quality controls, and lab results
- Completing weekly inventory and assisting with ordering supplies
- Supporting front desk responsibilities when needed
- Communicating with providers, patients, and team members throughout the day
- Helping create a welcoming, professional, and positive experience for every patient
